Compassionate Commerce is the belief that commerce, which is the exchange of goods, services or something of value, between businesses or entities, can be used to support specific life changing/saving causes.

Through the advent of new technologies and the maximization of operating efficiencies, SFR's objective is to capture a larger portion of the revenues derived from the sale of pet products/supplies and use them specifically to impact the lives of those most in need - animals in kill environments, abusive homes and over-crowded shelters.

SFR's foundational belief is to use the monies derived through compassionate commerce to support positive social and environmental needs which work towards the betterment of community and society and will do so by supporting the related communities of 501 (c)(3)'s across the US.

We give 20% because we believe in living a generous life. The idea of sowing and reaping is an idea that's thousands of years old. Moreover, by maximizing our operating efficiencies, we are able to use monies to support causes we believe are worthwhile; 2.7 million animals are killed annually and although we cannot solve the problem, we certainly can make a difference.

We have a page on our site where we will publish a monthly report that will show where the month’s contributions have gone. We are transparent - and in an area where there is no regulatory oversight we are more than happy to lead by example; watch what we do.

Each of the distributors for Shop For Rescues has a different shipping standard and process. Most orders are processed within 24-48 hours. Products are usually shipped USPS, UPS or FedEx. Details about your shipping including tracking information will be sent to you when your order is shipped. 

Usually within 3-5 days, however, certain items may take longer or make be out of stock. We have an order management system that will keep you informed of the progress of your order.

We wish we could offer free shipping but our distributors charge us shipping and handling and sometimes their fees are more than a little whacky… As we grow, we'll improve these processes to where we’ll provide additional benefit and value. We thank you for your continued support. 

Orders are shipped from distribution centers all over the US and each of the vendors have their own return policies. Please check the product page for return policy information.

No. However, we have carefully selected certain products that claim to be all natural. When possible, we will verify items.

We also have a “suggestion box” on our contact page. If you want to inform us about or suggest products, we are always willing to listen to suggestions. We do not claim to know everything, we only claim that we will attempt to do our very best.

In the Contact Us menu, select Add a Rescue and include all of the Rescues' contact information. A Shop For Rescues representative will contact the rescue to confirm information and get the rescue added to the Shop For Rescues' Map.
