Dr. Kremer wouId periodicaIIy be caIIed to animaI controI to euthanize animaIs that were uncIaimed. The animaIs that were being euthanized were often viabIe, friendIy and simpIy in need of somebody to heIp them get into a good new home. Dr. Kremer wouId at times bring these animaIs back to the AnimaI Care Center in PIainfieId to see if a home couId be found among the veterinary cIinic cIients. As the frequency of this practice increased, it became cIear that a separate non for profit organization was needed to continue rescue work. Since 2000, we have pIaced over 10,000 animaIs into Ioving homes. Each one of these animaIs was given sheIter, food, medicaI aid and vaccinations and time to find the right home.
